Electricians

You do the electrical work. VOCA handles first contact.

A customer wants an EV charger while you are on another job. VOCA can answer through the channels you connect, collect the details and pass them to you for a callback.

A request for you to follow up

In request mode, you choose the job and time after speaking with the customer. The assistant gives no binding quote or installation promise.

YOU SET THE PROCESS

First contact, with clear limits.

The customer gets an answer

The assistant answers common questions using your services, opening hours and approved information.

You get the details

The request describes the electrical work, the location and how to contact the customer.

You make the assessment

You decide the scope, technical requirements, price and when the work can happen.

A CALL IN YOUR TRADE

Example: an EV charger enquiry

Illustrative example. This is a suggested process, not a customer result or an actual booking.

For example, the customer says

I would like an EV charger at my house. Could you come sometime next week?

What the request needs to include

  • What the customer wants installed or changed, such as a charger or sockets. Include existing equipment details if the customer provides them.
  • The street address and town, plus the property type if your process needs it.
  • The customer name, contact details and preferred period. Next week is recorded as a preference, not a booked time.
HAND OVER THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

You keep the professional assessment.

  • Technical assessments, faults requiring an electrician and the price for a particular job go to you.
  • Urgent enquiries and requests to speak to a person follow your configured handoff. The assistant promises no arrival time.
  • Request mode books no appointments. A separate connected booking setup can confirm only a time that has been checked and saved.
PROOF BEFORE LAUNCH

Test a charger enquiry, uncertain scope and handoff.

Use your own test requests before launch. Check both what the customer hears and what you receive after the call.

  1. 1Call with the charger example. Check that the saved request includes the job, address, name and contact method.
  2. 2Call from outside your service area. Check that the assistant follows your rules without promising a visit.
  3. 3Ask for a fixed quote, then ask for a person. Check that it invents no price and follows your handoff process.
  4. 4Check that next week remains a preference. If you also test calendar booking, try an occupied time and a failed save. Neither may be confirmed.
CHOOSE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

A request first. A booking when it can be confirmed.

Start by capturing jobs for callbacks. Calendar booking is a separate choice for visits you want and are able to schedule.

Forms and requests

Without a connected system that can confirm a time, the enquiry must remain a request.

Google Calendar

A separate booking setup can use a connected calendar. Confirm a time only after checking it and saving the booking.

Microsoft Outlook

See how the calendar connection works and what it can check. A preferred date is not a booking on its own.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What to know before launch.

Can VOCA give the customer a quote?

The assistant can repeat approved prices. It must not invent a price for the electrical work. You make the assessment and provide the quote.

Do I need to change my phone number?

You can keep your number and forward calls according to your setup. Test the connection with us before using it for customer calls.

Can the customer book an installation directly?

In request mode, the customer leaves a preference and you follow up. A separate booking setup can confirm an allowed visit only after the correct time has been checked and the booking saved.
